May's been a busy month at SHCD.US HQ. We shipped a bunch of stuff, brought the QR generator back to life, and lined up what's coming next. Here's the rundown — honest and unfiltered.

We launched the SHCD.US blog with posts covering real estate QR strategies, time-gating psychology, password-protected links, analytics that matter, restaurant menu hacks, event playbooks, and a photographer merch case study. No filler, no AI-generated keyword soup — just practical stuff about getting more out of your QR codes. New posts drop regularly. Subscribe below if you want them in your inbox.
🎨 Features page got a full rewrite
The old features page was placeholder text. The new one actually explains what SHCD.US does: dynamic redirects, custom expiration, time-gating, password protection, scan analytics, and Printful merch integration. It's written for humans — restaurant owners, real estate agents, marketers, event organizers, photographers, and anyone else who uses QR codes in the real world.
🔧 QR generator is back online
The /qr-codes page is live again and better than before. You can now generate QR codes instantly — no signup required for basic generation. Create a free account and you unlock the full toolkit: custom expiration dates, time-gated access windows, password protection, scan analytics, and the full Printful merch catalog. The dependency issue that took it down taught us some things about deployment resilience, and we've tightened that up.
👕 Printful catalog expanding
We've been adding more product types to the Printful integration. Beyond the original t-shirts and hoodies, you can now order mugs, tote bags, hats, and stickers with your SHCD.US QR code. The merch preview experience still needs work — you can't see a mockup of your QR code on the item before ordering — but the actual ordering flow works. More customization options are on the roadmap.
🗺️ What's coming next
A few things we're actively working on:
- Pricing tiers — free stays free, but we're building Pro and Business plans with higher limits and advanced features
- Merch preview — see your QR code on the product before you buy
- Bulk link management — for agencies and power users managing dozens of QR codes
- API access — programmatic link creation and management
No launch dates to announce yet — we'd rather ship things when they're ready than make promises we can't keep. But this is the direction.
