Fair questions.
What counts as a scan? +
Every time someone opens one of your links or scans one of your codes, including repeat visits. Scans of the shcd.us homepage demo don't count.
What happens if I go over my scans? +
Nothing breaks. We never stop a printed code because of a busy month. You'll see the overage in your dashboard and we'll ask you to move up a plan if it keeps happening.
Can I use my own domain? +
Yes, on Pro and up. Point a subdomain like qr.yourbrand.com at us with one CNAME record, prove it's yours with a TXT record, and we handle HTTPS automatically.
What happens to my codes if I downgrade or cancel? +
They keep working. Downgrading only limits what you can add or change next. Codes you've already printed keep redirecting.
How does annual billing work? +
You pay for twelve months up front at the lower monthly rate (up to 18% off). Cancel any time; you keep access until the year ends.
Why do you need my email before a link goes live? +
So every link on our domain belongs to a real, reachable person. It's one of the ways we keep phishing off shcd.us, so people keep trusting the codes you print.
How does API pricing work? +
API calls draw from prepaid credits at the per-link rate on your plan. Higher plans pay less per link. Top up any time from your dashboard.
